Victor  Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary Fire Prevention Poster Contest 

This year’s fire prevention theme is “Prevent Home Fires”.  This year’s participants will be students who are in first, second, or third grade in the Victor School District.  Participants will be judged on posters they submit that are relevant to the theme.  Students will compete in their own grade classification.  Every student who participates will receive a certificate.  A ribbon and a monetary award will be given to students who are judged to be first, second, or third in their classification. 

Rules of the contest include: 

• Poster paper must be white and measure no larger than 11” by 17”
• Poster must have a picture illustrating the theme of the contest
• Poster must have the student’s name, address, phone number, and grade clearly written on the back of the poster
• Parent’s signature should also be placed on the back of the entry as permission to participate in this contest

All projects must be completed by Wednesday October 8^th.  The poster drop-off point is the Victor Child Care which is located at 66 School Street.  Posters may be dropped off any time prior to 6 p.m.   Winners will be notified by phone and will receive their awards at the Victor Fire Department.
